Print is a smooth rounded lantern. The eggshell thin object is illuminated from within by candlelight, creating the illusion of a pattern printed on its surface as the light shines through. The tactility and beauty of this object create a more romantic way to enjoy the sensuality of light. The design of this project was driven by a curiosity to examine how smooth surfaces can reveal complex patterns.
